Don't be fooled by its stealthy name, the Tero 500 Stealth's lutherie has been carefully crafted to offer guitarists an attractive, well-built instrument. The body is made from Paulownia for lightness and resonance. The sturdy, comfortable American maple neck, ergonomically screwed at 4 points, is topped by a 22-fret Eko WPC+ resin fingerboard, providing stability and comfort. Rare for a Tele format, the Eko Steel tremolo features independently adjustable saddles to fine-tune the action and harmonics of each string. Its locking action in 4+2 configuration ensures tuning and note stability. Finally, the all-black satin matte finish is truly remarkable for its value for money!
A highly versatile electronics configuration!
On the electronics side, the Tero 500 Stealth is equipped with 2 dual-coil Eko pickups. These two humbuckers in bridge and neck position can both be split into a single-coil, thanks to the push-pull tone knob. The 3-position selector widens the range of tones offered by the instrument, with three positions associated with each of the two pickups, offering clean, powerful sounds, and an intermediate position wired in parallel for deeper, velvety tones. So you can play hard rock and metal, but its splittable HH configuration will also surprise you when it comes to blues or jazz.
